Projects

A structured workspace that keeps every matter in context.

Longer-running legal work rarely stays within a single conversation. A single matter can stretch over weeks and span dozens of documents and questions, and its context is easy to lose along the way. Projects give that work a home in Noxtua, so you can keep everything for one matter together and continue in the right context whenever you return.

What are Projects?

A Project is a dedicated workspace for a single matter, transaction, research topic, or internal initiative. It keeps everything that belongs to that work in one place: your conversations with Noxtua, the documents you upload, the context you provide, and the outputs you generate.

You set up a project once from the Projects area. From then on, every new chat you start inside that project automatically considers the context and files you have added while generating its answers. You do not need to re-upload documents or restate your instructions in each conversation, because the project keeps them in view.

Because each project holds its own context, your matters stay cleanly separated. Nothing from one matter spills into another.

Your projects are stored server-side and are available wherever you sign in to the Noxtua web app, across different browsers and devices. Access follows your existing organization and user permissions.

Main use cases with Projects

Organize by matter: Group related conversations, documents, and context under one project, whether that is a client, a case, a transaction, a research topic, or an internal initiative. Everything for that workstream stays in one place.

Persistent context across chats: Add your files and instructions to a project once, and Noxtua brings them to every chat inside it. You receive consistent answers across related questions, and you never re-upload the same contract or restate the same background from one conversation to the next.

Continuity: Come back to a matter after days or weeks away, and its chats, documents, and outputs are right where you left them. The full history of a matter stays within reach.

Separation between matters: Each project keeps its own context, so parallel workstreams never mix. You can trust that answers draw only on the background that belongs to that matter.

How to create and use a Project

  1. Open Projects. Select Projects in the main navigation. The Projects dashboard opens. If you have not created any projects yet, it starts empty, ready for your first one.

  1. Create a project. Choose to create a new project, then give it a name and a description. The name needs at least five characters. Both fields are required. A clear name and description make your project easy to recognize on the dashboard later.

  1. Add your knowledge and context. Open the project and add the files you want it to work with under Project Knowledge, along with any project-specific context. Noxtua reuses these across every chat in the project, so you set them up once rather than with every question.

  1. Work inside the project. Start a chat from within the project and ask your question as usual. Noxtua considers the project’s context and files while generating your answer, so every reply starts from the full picture. Each new chat you create in the project does the same.

  1. Keep your project up to date. Rename or update a project’s details whenever the matter changes. On the dashboard you can sort your projects by most recently updated or by creation date to find the one you need.

Deleting a project

When a matter is closed, you can delete its project. Deleting a project is permanent and cannot be undone, so make sure you no longer need its chats, files, or outputs before you remove it.
